That matters because a pergola is rarely a stand-alone job. One over a pool deck has to sit on a deck built to carry it, and a patio cover has to meet the house and the slab. We walk the property with you, then send a quote, and estimates are free. The crew can handle county permits and build to HOA standards, so bring up both when you reach out.

How much does a pergola cost in Elgin?

Can you build a pergola on my existing deck?
Often we can, but the deck has to carry the posts. We look at the framing when we walk the property and tell you if anything needs work first. If you are planning a new deck anyway, we can build the pergola into it so the two match.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval for a pergola?
Rules vary by county and by neighborhood. The crew can handle county permits and build to HOA standards, so tell us your neighborhood when you reach out and we will sort out what applies. Ask early, because approvals can add time before the build starts.
Do you build pergolas outside Elgin?
